☒ ADVERTISEMENTS:
– After we discontinued the original Slide Lock line reel, demand from customers has led us to develop a new and improved line reel, Dive Rite wrote in the newsletter.
The Slide Lock 2 is precisely made of Acetal with acid-resistant steel on the handle, and has a spring mechanism that allows you to open and lock the chute reel with your thumb.
One meter indicates how much fishing line is left on the reel, which is sold in 60 meters or 120 meters of #24 braided line in white or bright orange.
According to Dive Rite, the line reel is ergonomic and has a low profile meaning it is unobtrusive when not in use, and easy to use with or without gloves.
Models with 120 meter line are standard for use in caves, but 60 meter reels are perfect for extra security in caves and shipwrecks, or for shooting buoys or lifting balloons.
Dive Rite currently has no retailers in Norway, so its products must be purchased online. Read more and find a dealer at www.diverite.com.
