(Häcken – Malmö 4–2) The top match between Häcken and Malmö was interrupted after fans entered the field.
With around twenty minutes remaining in the game – with the score 3–1 to Häcken – a group of black-clad supporters entered the pitch from the far side.
The guards stopped the supporters. The match was then stopped, before resuming after a short break. Häcken ultimately won 4-2.
based on Afton Sword The commotion arose after Häcken’s Aiham Ousou was substituted. The Malmö fans booed the centre-back, who responded with ironic applause.
Both players and support staff from Malmö reportedly then surrounded Ousou. Some of the home fans responded by jumping from the long side and then running towards the Malmö bench. The guards were able to stop them soon after.
Ousou was expelled because of his emotions. The match then restarted and Malmö took ten minutes to reduce the score to 3-2. Amor Layouni, with a past in the Eliteserien, then improved to 4–2. That is also the end result.
This gave Elfsborg a chance to secure gold against Degerfors, but it ended 2-2. Elfsborg topped the series with three points before the final round of the series: There they met golden rivals Malmö.
Häcken is coached by Per-Mathias Høgmo. He led them to a league gold medal last year. After today’s win, they secured third place in this year’s season.
