00:01. The US president assured the Ukrainian president of his full support
US President Joe Biden assured Volodymyr Zelensky of his “full support” on Saturday during a telephone conversation on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, which was attended by the Ukrainian president.
We discussed the current situation on the front lines. I am grateful for President Biden's full support. I also believe the US Congress will make wise decisions
– President Zelensky wrote on Telegram.
He added that supporting Ukraine means supporting democracy and freedom.
Together we must protect these values
– he emphasized.
Earlier, in his speech at the Munich forum, Zelensky called on the international community to continue supporting Ukraine in defending itself against Russian aggression, arguing that otherwise the Russian dictator would not stop.
Don't be careless, but do everything to defeat him. Dictators don't go on vacation, hatred doesn't take a break
– said President Zelensky.
