Proceedings of the 10th Sejm Session – 24-26 April 2024
The official website of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland has published the preliminary schedule of the 10th session of the Sejm of the 10th term, providing an estimated time for considering items on the Sejm’s battle agenda planned for this week. This suggests that lawmakers will deliberate three times this week: on April 24, 25 and 26, 2024. Thursday’s session will start at 9:00, and Friday’s at 10:00. As noted, the schedule presented on the website is a working material and is subject to change.
Foreign policy in the Sejm
Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski will present Poland’s foreign policy assumptions for 2024 at Thursday’s Sejm session. According to PAP information, Minister Sikorski’s speech at the 10th session of the Sejm is expected to last more than an hour, but the schedule posted on the official website of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland on Thursday showed that, including the minister’s speech, as many as nine hours were allocated for the Sejm’s debate on Polish foreign policy.

Thursday’s parliamentary schedule is as follows:
- time. 9:00-18:00 – information from the Minister of Foreign Affairs on Poland’s foreign policy tasks in 2024 (medium debate), (points),
- time. 18:00-19:30 – first reading of the government bill on amendments to the Law on the exchange of tax information with other countries and certain other acts (form No. 311), (5-minute statement on behalf of the club and 3-minute statement on behalf of the club) , (point 9),
- time. 19:30-21:30 – first reading of the citizens’ bill on changes to the Law – the Criminal Code (form no. 29), (10-minute statement on behalf of the club and 5-minute statement on behalf of the group), (points),
- time. 21:30–22:30 – possible parliamentary statement.
