Jiří Suchý scared his fans last week when he contacted them via social media from the hospital. After a few days of suspense, fans were finally relieved. The legendary Semaphore principal had some good news for them.
Exactly a week ago, Stars24.cz informed you that Jiří Suchý had health problems that had put him in hospital lately. “I have been in the hospital for a long time and I spit,” he admitted last Tuesday and apologized to the audience who came to Semafor, which of course did not have a show.
On Monday, he delighted his supporters with good news when a photo of him with an accompanying comment appeared on social networks. “Ajrín took a picture of me today, and when I saw the photo, I was happy because I was home. Thanks to everyone who did not forget that I was alive,” said the head of the theater.
His younger brother Ondřej has revealed the reason for his brother’s hospitalization. Exhaustion was the cause, because Suchý, even at the age of 88, continued to lead a very active life and acted in several theater performances.
Due to Suchy’s discomfort, Semafor cancelled two performances last week, which he must have deeply regretted, as well as the cancellation of Friday’s concert and talk in Poděbrady on the occasion of the opening of his paintings.
