PER IN THE CORNER, OSLO (VG) Tadzedin “Tasko” Fetisi (47) was impressed when he opened the door for Per around the corner on Sunday, a day and a half after the mass shooting.
“Terror strikes us, and our hearts bleed,” Fetisi told the press in a statement he wrote on his cell phone.
Two people were killed and 21 injured in the mass shooting in Oslo that hit London pubs Per on the corner and Herr Nilsen on Saturday night.
The spring in the corner was in the middle of the line of fire, and two men in their 50s and 60s were killed.
On Sunday, Per on the corner and neighboring Herr Nilsen’s pub opened their doors for the first time after the incident. Fetish fought back in tears as she lined her pub door and read aloud on behalf of herself and her staff.
– We are very tired, sad and very affected by this. This is very difficult for all of us, and we need peace of mind to face all of this.

Witnesses after the shooting in Oslo: – I saw my best friend lying down
OSLO CENTER (VG) Bjørn Inge Bergestuen fell when the perpetrator shot the Per pub in Hjørnet.
The pub manager described what happened as “incomprehensible and very sad”.
“When all our warmest thoughts go out to everyone who has lost a loved one, and to everyone who has been hurt and affected by this horrific incident,” he said.
He went on to say that we now have to look after each other, and that in his pub everyone is welcome.
– It’s always been like this, and will continue to be like that. There are many who have their outer footprints here in this great corner. Just ordinary people with different beliefs and orientations.

– We must do everything we can to keep this corner of the city safe for our guests and those who work here.
– We will now stand together and mourn and fight for everyone in their right to be allowed to be themselves, he concluded.

At Mr Nilsen, neither employees nor guests want to comment, but they understand that the press is on site.
– Now we just want to enjoy our beer in peace, one man told VG.
Will show support
Leo Rui Shumba’s brother was among those who made the trip to Per around the corner. He said that the flowers in the area and everyone gathered were some of the “most beautiful” he had ever seen.
– I was very moved, he explained.
The 35-year-old himself traveled because he wanted to show support, solidarity and love. Shumba has been a regular to pubs in the area since he was 21.
However, he didn’t show up until Saturday night.
– What has happened may be a warning to the last people who object that people can love the people they love – regardless of gender.
On Sunday, a mourning service is held at the Oslo Cathedral. See the full recording here:
