Both the driver and passenger who drove the car with SIAN leader Lars Thorsen on Saturday afternoon, have been arrested and charged.

In a video that was filmed in the car of the two defendants, phrases were exchanged in other languages. The passenger swore loudly.

– Move.

– Beat them.

– Drive.

It shows a translation that VG made of the language exchange in the period before the two women’s cars got into a military-patterned car, which ended up on the roof.

Especially the passenger who spoke, and it was he who shouted “drive”.

SIAN leader Lars Thorsen and four others were in the car that ended up on the roof. No one was seriously injured, but police have stated that they view it “as a serious incident”.

The woman who was the driver was charged with serious bodily injury, and on Sunday the passenger was also arrested and charged with complicity in grievous bodily injury. He has not been questioned. To Dagbladet police attorney Aase Schartum-Hansen said that none of the women had pleaded guilty.

Passenger defender Ole Petter Drevland said he had spoken to his client, and that he had briefed police on Saturday.

– This is of course a special situation, and there is a lot of commotion. This of course is stressful.

Shortly before the crash, SIAN members burned a Koran at the intersection in Mortensrud in Oslo. A video showed that more people were coming to the venue, and there was a great atmosphere before leader Sian and his entourage continued on their way.

Police believe this was the background to the crash, something SIAN leader Lars Thorsen has also confirmed.

VG spoke to the woman who was a passenger shortly after the crash on Saturday afternoon.

– They crashed our car first and sprayed it. We fell back afterwards to defend ourselves. Their car turned around, he said later.

The woman also said that they extinguished the burned version of the Koran after SIAN members burned it in Mortensrud, as the video from the scene also shows.

– I put out the fire with my hands. No one else dared. All the Muslims were with me when I put out the fire.

The SIAN leader confirmed to VG on Saturday that someone in the car sprayed defensive spray on the window of the car following them.

The police stated that they are investigating extensively, and are investigating whether the various incidents are related to the collision.

– We’re investigating what happened. We conducted interrogations, and examined video material, among other things. “For investigative reasons, we cannot provide further information on the case,” said police attorney Aase Schartum-Hansen.

Police continue to assess every action regarding the safety of those involved. Among other things, the police conducted security interviews.

Won’t give an explanation

So far, VG has not been able to contact the defense of the driver, who is charged with severe bodily injury.

The woman provided an explanation on the spot, but so far did not wish to be questioned further, according to Schartum-Hansen.

He further wrote that it may be relevant to extend the allegations, but it is too early to say anything about it at this time.

When asked about the safety of the accused, as well as the leader of SIAN and other members, Schartum-Hansen wrote the following:
