Top matches in REMA 1000 league for men

Over the years, matches in the REMA 1000 league have been broadcast on TV 2 Sport 2 and TV 2 Play. Only national matches and NM finals are granted access to the main channel during prime time.

But Saturday it will happen! Then series leaders Kolstad welcomed the dominant team of recent years, Elverum, to the Handballfest at Trondheim Spectrum. And The entire Trndelag team is invited for a match starting at 16:30 At the time of writing, over 8,000 tickets have been sold out of a total of 8,900 for what Trondheims call the most raw handball experience in Norway. So anyone who wants to join the party in the hall must hurry!

It’s not easy to get airtime on the main channel on TV 2, where the list is high.

– We are excited to have a handball match on live television. The Kolstad project is interesting and is a gift package for those of us who promote Norwegian handball, says enthusiastic Harald Bredeli. Kolstad wanted to test the Trondheim Spectrum as a match venue, and that made TV 2 want to broadcast the match on the main channel.

– This could be a great show for the Norwegian club handball, and there will be a record turnout. “We look forward to parties on the pitch and stands, and we hope the public, whether they are in the halls or watching TV, want to see more handball,” said Bredeli.

TV 2 has set aside plenty of time before and after the game to feature, and next year’s Kolstad player Sander Sagosen will be visiting the studio.

– We’re really looking forward to this, Bredeli concluded.
