REPAIR CASE WILL CONTINUE
Mularczyk stressed that the issue of reparations for Poland for losses in World War II “will continue and will certainly not disappear from the domestic and international political scene.”

October 3 last year Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau signed a diplomatic note to the German side regarding war compensation. Poland demands, among other things, compensation for material and intangible losses amounting to over PLN 6.22 trillion and compensation for losses.
January 3 of this year the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to this note. According to the German government, the issue of reparations and compensation for war losses remains closed, and the German government has no intention of entering into negotiations on this issue.
