The head of the Ministry of National Defense took part in a ceremony commemorating the victims of German crimes at Fort III in Pomiechówek.
“We will do everything to prevent a similar incident from happening again. “We will do everything by strengthening the Polish Army, by creating new units, by equipping the Polish Army with modern weapons,” Błaszczak said.
He emphasized that soldier necessary to defend our country and deter aggressors. “We will not deviate from this path. “If we had continued our mission after the fall, the Polish Army would have been bigger and equipped with more modern weapons,” he added.
“Everything that happened during World War II can also happen today,” he said. (PAP)
