On Friday, Russian state news agency RIA reported that former Wagner boss Andrej Troshev was already working at the Russian Defense Ministry.

– He already works in the Ministry of Defense, Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the Russian press.

According to British intelligence, Trosjev was given the task of organizing “volunteer combat units” for defense. The role is seen in connection with the possible reorganization of the Wagner Group.

On the evening of June 24, Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin shocked the world and the Kremlin with an armed march against Moscow.

Two months later, the world was shocked again. On August 23 there were reports that Prigozhin had died in a plane crash.

After the Moscow March, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Wagner soldiers would be given the opportunity to be included in the regular Russian army.

MISCELLANEOUS SYSTEM: Sources located in the Pentagon believe that Joe Biden will soon provide long-range missiles to Ukraine. This could weaken Russia’s combat system, said Lieutenant Colonel Palle Ydstebø.

Trosjev had been given the task, according to British intelligence. In addition, Troshev may have also contributed to sparking the Wagner uprising by recruiting soldiers in early June, the intelligence wrote.

– Troshev may have worked to encourage others at Wagner to sign contracts, which contributed to the rebellion. Among Wagner’s veterans, he might be considered a traitor, the intelligence wrote.

Despite the fact that the Wagner group has lost its leader and no longer exists as an official combat group in Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, the group has not stopped all its activities.

British intelligence shows, among other things, that Russia is still using Wagner and other private companies to establish a presence in African countries.
