ESPN reacted, like several others, to the fact that Graham Hansen has yet to earn any individual awards for his achievements at Barcelona.
– Graham Hansen was oddly omitted from all major individual honors last season, but he rose to 4th place in the ESPN rankings after another wonderful season with Barcelona. Most goals scored by (Alexia) Putellas et al. would not have been possible without the great work of Graham Hansen on the right, writes ESPN.
The aforementioned Putellas, who won the women’s Ballon d’Or in November last year, topped ESPN’s rankings.
Karl-Petter Løken will be general secretary of the Norwegian Football Association
In 10th place we find another Ballon d’Or winner: Ada Hegerberg. ESPN wrote about the star striker’s return from an injury that kept him out for 21 months.
– Nobody knows what to expect when they return after such a long absence, but Hegerberg has quickly returned to fitness with Lyon. His goal in the Champions League final was a perfect demonstration of his ability in the box.
No other Norwegian player has a place on the list.
