“The Muses are said to be silent between guns. But as a musician I can give a few examples that show that this is not always the case, that perhaps even in difficult times, music is indispensable for both comfort and encouragement. I am therefore pleased that even in the current difficult situation, when we plan the Czech Presidency under extremely extraordinary events and circumstances, it will have a significant cultural dimension,” said Minister of European Affairs Mikuláš Bek (STAN), who is an associate professor of musicology.
The capacity of the auditorium will be one thousand two hundred seated spectators. For them, ticket prices will range from 2,300 to 2,500 krona. The concert was broadcast live by Czech Television and recorded by the European cultural TV channel arte.
