Law and Justice began a series of meetings with voters across Poland. On Wednesday, politicians led by Jarosław Kaczyński, the party president, were in Sochaczew. Germany pretended to be a moral force. If they are moral force then I am a tall young blonde

– said Kaczyński, causing laughter among the meeting participants.

Kaczyński: Are we worse off?

The president of the Law and Justice Party explained to those gathered at the meeting in Sochaczew what Germany’s “mistakes” were against Poland. – Even criminals who are proven not to be punished, they do not lose their position in the state apparatus. Such a law was enacted, which was actually one major abolition, namely, an amnesty by forgetting guilt – said Kaczyński, adding that the trial responsible for the murder of the people in Oświęcim “lasted a minute”.

They paid the French and the Jews. France had just stopped paying for the First World War. What, are we worse?

– the deputy prime minister’s question caused applause in the room.

For several years, representatives of the Polish authorities have been talking about the possibility of applying for reparations to Germany. This was noticed by the German media. Three years ago, the chairman of the parliamentary committee dealing with reparations, MP Arkadiusz Mularczyk, “demanded in an unpublished report an amount of EUR 850 billion” in compensation from Germany. According to German commentators, this “raised the stakes in the dispute over reparations” ahead of celebrations for the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II.

Kaczyński about the war in Ukraine: it will be difficult to attack us

The deputy prime minister for security raised the topic of the war in Ukraine. He stressed that Poland’s eastern neighbors are currently fighting for the value of the western world, so we must do everything to ensure we don’t lose this war. – After more than 100 days of war, Ukraine still controls 80 percent of the country’s territory – stressed Kaczyński.

– Let’s hope that there will be a point where we will have a balance, and maybe even profit from Ukraine. Not the number of weapons, but the quality of the weapons. Because one thing is a cannon that fires more or less like during World War II, and another that fires a few dozen kilometers with an accuracy of 2-3 meters – says the president of PiS.

Kaczyński explained that he meant the HIMARS launcher. Poles ordered so much that Americans asked why. – Precisely because we don’t want war, we want to frighten Russia, we want to show the Russians that they don’t need to look for anything here, even if they are stronger than they are today – explains Kaczyński. He assured the meeting participants that “we will increase the army, we will arm it in such a way that it will be difficult to attack us”. – Of course, we can count on NATO, but then we can count on how to arm ourselves. “I want you to understand that we have to be strong militarily,” he said.

German thread also appears here. Berlin, like Poland, announced the rearmament of the army. According to Kaczyński, this may be related to the war Russia is waging in Ukraine, but not only. – Whether the Germans want to arm themselves against Russia or against us, I don’t know, but at least they are arming themselves – he added.

Jarosław Kaczyński, when asked about a possible coalition with the Confederation, stated that PiS “will not form an alliance with anyone on the Russian side.”
