Hegerberg missed out on the national team – Graham Hansen still out
On Monday, Hege Riise presented the national team squad for private international matches against Brazil and the Netherlands. As NRK learned ahead of the selection, Ada Hegerberg is not part of Riise’s latest national team squad.
– There’s still not ready. He is in touch with our medical team and the medical team in Lyon. He is irrelevant for this match, Riise said at a press conference.
Nothing was said about the status of the injury or further details. Hegerberg was injured in the international match against Belgium on 2 September, and has not played for the Lyon side since.
Caroline Graham Hansen is also not in the squad. He announced in late August that he was taking a break from the national team.
– He played for Barcelona and did well there, but the total workload hasn’t changed much. So, after the conversation, he didn’t participate in this collection either, Riise said.
