Running a party in a hot environment

It’s going to be busy and hot! In recent days, the capital has been blessed with a small gift package from the weather gods. Before anyone knew it, winter had passed and the summer weather had arrived. And for the 73,000 runners who will take part in Saturday’s race, the weather outlook is good.

The Meteorological Institute can tempt you with temperatures of over 20 degrees Celsius in Oslo and sunshine interrupted only by thin clouds.

Lavik at the Tjalve sports club was very pleased with the weather forecast for race day.

– The weather is great! “Our stages are quite short, so people will not experience any particular fluid loss, but we advise participants to bring drinks and lubricate themselves,” Lavik told Dagbladet.
