The third annual Mental Health Day event was held in the park at Karlín Square. This year’s theme is “On anger and other good emotions” and visitors have the opportunity to learn a lot of information and tips on how to deal with emotions, as well as many other interesting recommendations on how to maintain mental health. . They can consult with experts from various organizations, of which there are more than 15 this year.
“Over 20 mental health organizations are represented here, so people can pick up a business card, check out the organizations involved in mental health, and there are workshops and moderated discussions throughout the day with certified psychotherapists, there’s also canis therapy here, how dogs help humans , a workshop on mindfulness is taking place here, so there is a rich program throughout the day,” said Hana Novotná (STAN), representative of Prague City Council 8.
Workshops and creative activities are set up for children, so adults can stop by and chat quietly.
