Iron Maiden is widely recognized as one of the most important hard rock bands in history. On the way from
pubs and clubs in London’s East End to the world’s biggest stadium, the group has sold out
100 million records, won prestigious awards and played to more viewers than most
other bands and artists can only dream. Albums as “Number of Beasts«, “slave of power”, “Somewhere in Time” and “Brave New World” has become the textbook for a group of today’s biggest heavy metal stars, including Avenged seven times, Murderer and Metallica in the early phase. It also helps that the band still delivers concerts with live performances and the half-tempo energy band struggles to keep up. In 2021, the band released their last record, “Senjutsu”, to huge cheers from fans and critics. This one, for reasons we all know, never got its own tour when it was released. This does not mean that the disc is forgotten. “Senjutsu” contains some giant songs that scream to be performed live, and Iron Maiden intends to record them.

Some of these are on the menu next summer, but they won’t come alone. To think a little differently,
the band has decided to clean up one of the big gems in the catalog, namely “Somewhere in time” from 1986. A huge favorite among fans and a record that hasn’t received as much stage time as other classics.
Band founder and main songwriter, Steve Harrissaid in a press release:- “Since we had already opened the last part of the ‘Legacy of the Beast’ tour with the ‘Senjutsu’ section, we thought we should make something new. Then we decided to pay a visit to ‘Somewhere in Time’. This tour was never part of the tour a historical retrospective we’ve done in the past, most of which are based on concert films from the ’80s. Unfortunately, this round of “Somewhere on Tour” was never filmed. Many fans have requested songs from this record over the years. and now we’re actually going to play it. Besides, we’re really looking forward to playing some epic songs from Senjutsu”
