Flytoget holds a collaboration with the world’s fastest para-athlete, Greetings Kashfali. Flytoget commercial director, Nicolai Brydesaid in a press release that Kashafali was “very impressed with his performance both on and off the sports field.”
– We at Flytoget allow ourselves to be fascinated and impressed by Salum’s history and way of thinking, at least as much as his sporting achievements. His way of thinking, his willpower and the twinkle in his eye match Flytoget’s personality perfectly, and at least we thought it was great that we, who own Norway’s fastest trains, get to work with the world’s fastest humans, said Bryde.
Kashafali has only two percent vision, but recently broke a new world record in the 100 meters with a time of 10.37 during the Bislett Games. Now he flies to Para WC in Paris in July and the 2024 Paralympics with Flytoget on the team. The athlete himself says that he has made up to 40 trips throughout the year, and he has never had a bad experience on Flytoget.
– Staff is very helpful. I don’t always see them, but they see me and my need for help. They have done all the small but precise steps for my trip with a universally designed app, a yellow marker line, and a well trained and service minded staff inside. I am very proud that Flytoget wants to work with me and am looking forward to achieving the goals we have set ourselves together, he said.
He added that it also plays into the fact that Flytoget has a good reputation among the people.
– It means a lot to me. Both running performance and serving are still fresh, so we both have to work continuously to maintain our position as the fastest and the best, he concluded.
The collaboration will initially last until 2024 and the new agreement is in addition to the agreement Kashafali has with Brilleland.
