Entrepreneur and mathematician Karel Janeček will present his presidential campaign today in virtual reality and in live private meetings.
You can catch the presidential candidate’s press conference on September 7 starting at 10:21 am.
Karel Janeček creates his own virtual world in the meta version, in which the world’s first presidential campaign will also take place. “Virtual reality technology is undergoing rapid development and has developed rapidly in recent years. It may not surprise you that even in the case of virtual reality I have the courage to seek new avenues that I am not afraid to implement. Several politicians have used virtual worlds in campaigns. them, but as far as I know, I’m the first
world presidential candidate who will use the metaverse in his campaign. This is the first press conference live from virtual reality. I am happy that I can push boundaries and in this way demonstrate the social change that is needed, not only in relation to modern technology”, says Karel Janeček.
The virtual world is open anytime and to anyone without any limitations or prejudices. It is possible to participate in various types of meetings and discussions. Karel Janeček will be regularly present in the metaverse at scheduled times and will be available to everyone who wants to come to him and ask him anything. It is possible to visit the 2D version of the world even through a normal computer without a virtual reality helmet. However, the maximum experience is brought by the use of virtual goggles or helmets for virtual reality, enabling a perfect moving experience. Those who don’t have this option can come to the VR playground in Pražský
Wenceslas Square and try this experience for free in the following weeks. This space will also serve as a place to collect signatures. However, people can come even during Karel Janeček’s absence. Interactive panels, videos, photos and articles are available for this case.
“Imagine with me a world where sick people confined to bed have the opportunity to visit their favorite places, meet friends or experience at least some of what healthy people do through virtual reality. Let’s imagine a world where our children no need to learn dates in school and
the names of rulers with care, but they have the opportunity to visit a given historical period and understand such an important historical relationship. Let’s imagine the possibility of spending, for example, an hour a day in any country through virtual reality and thus learning a foreign language”, said Karel Janeček, presidential candidate for the Czech Republic.
