Charter company Ving is struggling after flight problems in Rhodes and leased an Airbus A380 aircraft from Portuguese charter company HiFly, writes flysmart24.no.
– We are talking about a trip from Oslo to Palma in Mallorca and back. “We will carry 238 passengers on the way down, while the return flight will carry 403 passengers,” said Information Manager Siri Røhr-Staf at Ving.
A flight change may be a positive surprise for some passengers. There is room for only 399 guests in economy, and therefore the company may have to move some guests to business or first class to accommodate them all. In total there is room for 471 passengers.
According to flysmart24, the A380 has visited Gardermoen several times before, including when the type was tested for extreme winters, and when Lufthansa came north to show off its new aircraft in 2010.
