This weekend, Elton John is in Norway for what should be his final tour.
The concerts will not be held until 2020, but due to the pandemic, they have been postponed until 2021.
Then they were delayed once more due to the softness after the fall. The new date happens to be the same day Norway’s response to Elton John, Kjetil Grods, will be holding a concert in Lørenskog.
– Since the concert at Telenor Arena is sold out, this will be a great opportunity for those who don’t have the original tickets, says Tor booking manager Erik Fredheim satisfied.
A world star imitated for 20 years
Kjetil Grodås held his first Elton John concert in 2004, and has nearly 20 years behind him as Norway’s answer to British legend.
– With more than 1500 concerts as Norway’s answer to Elton John under his belt, and his very own real grand piano in the living room at home, it’s an attraction for the rare who come to Lrenskog House next Saturday, said Fredheim.
The Elton John impersonator guarantees singing and fireworks from a concert.
– Your Song Show – a tribute to Elton John will now launch, and the show will include Larvik, Arendal, Lillestrm, Penanya, Fredrikstad and Kristiansand in addition to Lørenskog, Fredheim continued.
– The most complete tribute show
With them, they have the best of Elton John’s universe, accompanied by a huge screen showing pictures and clips from his original more than 50 year career.
– And with Grodås, who has more than 20 years of experience as Elton John, this is one of Norway’s most successful tribute shows now to come, said Fredheim.
With 300 million records sold and more than 50 top 40 hits on both sides of the Atlantic, Elton John is one of the greatest artists in the world.
– Elton John’s songs have been around us for so long that they have almost become our own. On a double basis, this performance has been called the same as Elton’s first big hit, “Your Song”, concludes Tor Erik Fredheim.
