The shape feels good. I got some great answers during NM, and I feel like I still have a lot to go on. It will be very interesting with the long track event before the short track EC. I think there’s a good chance of doing it people’s approach at EC. So I’m really looking forward to it, said Henrik Christiansen.
Nicholas Lia is excited about how the training he does this fall will impact his distance performance.
It’s important to check the performance in Rotterdam on the long track, so I can see how the training I do this fall will affect the long track, because next year’s Olympics will be on the long track. “This year short track is not a focus, but with EC it will be fun and I hope I can have some fun moments during the championship,” said Nicholas Lia.
National team manager Petter Løvberg is looking forward to the short EC path and has clear goals for each athlete and the squad as a whole.
There were a lot of good results during the NM short track in Bergen, and I hope to see another improvement on the EC short track, which will be the most important competition this fall. There are a lot of people who can compete for the top spot and I hope they do their best race. Henrik probably has the biggest pressure of expectations, as he won two medals on the WC short track last time out, but also Markus Lie, who had a very strong fall and hopes to see him in the final. If you are in the final, anything can happen, said national team manager Petter Løvberg.
