American film actor Richard Gere goes on vacation to Mexico with his family. But he probably won’t remember it fondly. Due to severe pneumonia, he ended up in a local hospital.
Seventy-three year old Richard Gere goes on vacation to Mexico with his wife of 33 years, Alejandra, and their two sons. Gere gave the trip to his wife for his 40th birthday. But he risked his health.
According to the magazine TMZ the actor had already complained of a bad cough before the trip. The sea air didn’t seem to be helping him either, quite the opposite. Richard Gere caught pneumonia. His condition was so serious that he had to be taken to a local hospital, where he was kept overnight for observation. The doctors put him on antibiotics and he will be released again in the morning.
The actor’s family health has obviously taken a toll on him in recent days. “After almost three weeks of us all being sick I finally feel a lot better today,” Alejandra wrote on Friday at Instagram. But now, it seems, everything is fine. On Saturday night, she bragged in her story on Instagram a photo of her hitting the beach again with Richard and his kids.
Bruce Willis also had serious health problems. According to the family, they have dementia:
