Brand: Luis Rubiales pleads not guilty in court – has been banned from visiting
The Spanish prosecutor’s office has banned the outgoing president of Spanish football, Luis Rubiales, from contacting and communicating with Jenni Hermoso.
That’s what the Spanish newspapers wrote Mark.
Rubiales is said to also deny any criminal wrongdoing, and that he did not consent to kissing the World Cup winner.
The former football president is said to be prohibited from approaching Hermoso within a 500 meter radius, as well as communicating with him in any way during the investigation of the case.
When leaving the courtroom in Madrid, Carla Vall, Hermoso’s attorney, said she was very happy with the decision. Lawyers claim that proves Rubiales’ kiss was not consensual, wrote Marca.
It was Judge Francisco de Jorge who was in charge of the investigation initiated by the national court in Spain.
The referee is said to have also asked to be sent TV images showing the session in which Rubiales kissed Hermoso on the mouth after the World Cup final.
However, it is not yet known when Hermoso will provide his statement in this case. The World Cup winner is expected to do this digitally, as long as he is in Mexican football. (NTB)
