Financier and property manager Pavel Bodlák has a registered lien on a castle in Protivín. This is the most famous project of IC Group / The Royal Capital Club, which presents the story in the Czech Republic about the capital appreciation of the Sultan of Malaysia. However, because they did not fulfill their obligations, the group is now threatened with losing the castle of South Bohemia. Information about mortgages is generated from changes in the current real estate cadastre.
True to its original promise, this castle would become a center of luxury for the world’s nobility. The castle was supposed to be a tourist attraction. However, due to financial problems, work on the castle was stopped.
Businessman Pavel Bodlák, in the context of the current events surrounding IC Group, explained for the first time in detail what his role is in relation to this group. The entrepreneur can be traced as the main owner in several branches of the group.
“The castle mortgage in Protivín was in my favor at a time when it became clear that all attempts to communicate and resolve with IC Group/RCC representatives had failed,” said Bodlák.
There is no fulfillment
Pavel Bodlák signed an agreement with IC Group at the beginning of 2021 that he will build a tailor-made domestic and foreign corporate structure to accommodate his future business activities. Some of these companies have a background in international financial regulatory services.
“I complete this task at the end of 2022. After that, a payment of 10 million euros will follow from IC Group / RCC. However, this never happened. So far, neither I nor my company have received any financial payment from IC Group/RCC,” said businessman Bodlák.
The conflict between financiers and IC Group has reached the point that Bodlák has also turned to the police.
“This situation, as a consequence, has had a fundamentally negative impact on my business activities and, last but not least, on my personal life. Currently, I have initiated criminal legal proceedings against IC Group/RCC in the Czech Republic. We did the same in the UK and then in Malaysia,” added Bodlák.
The editors also contacted IC Group regarding developments around Protivín castle. However, he did not respond to the question.
