A number of people on social networks criticized that the show’s name embraced Nazism. During World War II, Bandera, as the leader of Ukrainian nationalists, unilaterally declared the Ukrainian state independent and relied on the support of the German Wehrmacht.

We also donated personal hygiene products and first aid medicines,” said the event’s Facebook page. According to this announcement, they all went to Donetsk.

Even the mayor of Pilsen objected to the event with a name referring to Bandera.

“I really don’t want this in Pilsen! I appeal to all operators of proper restaurants and other entertainment establishments not to give space to organizers of such events. At the same time, I urge Ukrainians to behave politely in Pilsen and I thank you to those who did it. Bandera are war criminals. Bandera’s people are also responsible for massacring the population of Czechoslovakia. Such an act is unacceptable to me. However, we have very limited options regarding their ownership of private companies. That’s why we are in touch with the Police of the Czech Republic,” Zarzycký said on his Facebook page Profile.
