The 71st Hoppuka starts with the opening race in Oberstdorf on 29 December and ends on Friday 6 January in Bischofshofen.
The TV rights here in Norway are divided, and TV 3 and TV 2 feature Hoppuka.
It has been held since 1953 in Germany and Austria.
The record holder in the context of the jump week is Janne Ahonen. Finland won a total of five times between 1998/99 and 2007/08. Jens Weissflog has four wins overall.
Arne Scheie – who has covered 42 consecutive jump weeks for NRK – believes Marius Lindvik and Halvor Egner Granerud are among the favorites this year.
