It is 5.4 meters high, making it the largest in the world. The village of Spark in Tynset can’t sit on the fence and watch the gang from Sandefjord take the world record away from them – now they have taken it back.
At 5.4 meters high, it is the largest kick in the world and is 12 meters long. That’s eight times a normal kick.
These clothes may not be used every day because they weigh up to two tons.
– This will be hard to beat, said the sheriff in Tynset after measuring the kick.
– Do you want to take action against them, if anyone tries, asked Mayor Bersvend Salbu.
He will do what he can to ensure that the world’s greatest kicker remains in Tynset this time.
Priceless Whaling Monument
It was this winter that a group of friends from Sandefjord came with surprising news. Their kick is measured as the greatest in the world.
– We made it in connection with the Spark WC in Geilo which is being held for the 30th time this year, so we donated the spark to them, one of the people behind the donation, Tor Martin Aabol, told NRK this winter.
Their kicks are 4.53 meters high. One meter higher than the 3.3 meter high which until that time was the largest in the world. Mayor Salbu quickly said that they could not accept this.
– It’s a bit painful when someone from Sandefjord has to take the biggest kick in the world, so we considered building a whaling monument or something, but the biggest kick in the world is now back in Tynset, said Mayor Salbu.
