On Thursday afternoon, the doctor who treated President Miloš Zeman, Miroslav Zavoral, came to Lán again. This was confirmed by the spokesman for the Central Military Hospital (ÚVN) Jitka Zinke and the presidential spokesman Jiří Ovčáček.

Zavoral did not provide any comment after the meeting with the president.

“I can confirm that Professor Zavoral is scheduled for a medical visit with the President today,” Zinke said without further details.

According to Ovčáček, this was a planned visit. The last time the doctor who treated him visited the president was on Monday.

Prime Minister Andrej Babi (ANO) said in an interview with Rádio Impuls today that he was informed about the state of the Republican President’s health. According to him, Zeman has no appetite, he does not have enough nutrition, and this is what Zavoral is solving.

Babi has no further details on Zeman’s state of health, so he doesn’t know if the president has liver problems, as has emerged in the media. Pig should meet with the president on Sunday afternoon, he added.

According to media reports, Zavoral had already recommended the president return to hospital on Monday. The palace said the president’s health was good and he was participating in Friday’s election. He is scheduled to appear live on Prima TV on Sunday.

Zeman spent eight nights at the Central Military Hospital in September. At first, Prague Castle did not comment on the reasons for hospitalization, but later described the president’s stay in the hospital as rehabilitation.

A Castle spokesman said doctors had performed several tests on the president in the first few days, that they had not found any life-threatening problems and they had found that he was suffering from mild fatigue and dehydration. That’s why he got an IV.

However, in recent days, there have been reports that Zeman’s health has deteriorated significantly.
