– It was not exactly what we expected on the road, said Karoline Fagerelv (35) to Dagbladet.
It was April 1st and Fagerelv and his family were on a shopping trip to buy things for the cabin trip.
The family of three drove the E6 on the way back to the cabin at Skibotn, and along the way there were several signs warning of deer on the road.
Northern lights mentioned the problem first.
Appears after 12 years: – Completely shaking

But the signs probably should have warned otherwise, it turns out.
In the oncoming lane a large trailer came along and was driving very slowly, said Fagerelv.
– He rolled down the window and said that there were a lot of pigs outside. We started grinning from April 1st, because we thought it was an April Fool’s joke, he said.
They pressed on, and when they had gone further, however, it became clear that it was no joke after all.
– Just a kilometer further, there are a lot of pigs on the way, said Fagerelv.
Fear of “super pigs”
Jump over the fence
Pigs run between all the cars trying to navigate on E6.
– There was a little line, said Fagerelv.
The pigs belong to a nearby farm. To Northern lights said the farmer at the farm that a total of 21 pigs managed to jump over the fence while eating.
The farmer also said that they finally managed to bring in all the pigs. He didn’t want to comment further on that.
Fagerelv said they burst out laughing.
– We might expect to see a moose or a fox, but not a pig, said Fagerelv.
