2024 TV Campaign for the Childhood Cancer Association
The Childhood Cancer Association has been awarded a TV campaign on NRK for 2024.
With the money, family centers will be built in Tromsø, Bergen, Trondheim and Oslo, where children and young people with cancer and other serious illnesses can gather with their families.
At university hospitals in Tromsø, Bergen, Trondheim and Oslo, the Children’s Cancer Association wants to set up family centres. Here, parents and siblings need to be able to move easily between the hospital and the center so that the family can live an almost normal daily life.
Broadcasting manager Vibeke Fürst Haugen was very pleased with the award.
– I firmly believe that this will be a TV campaign that will involve residents in 2024. We at NRK are proud to continue the largest charity in the world, which will turn 50 next year, said Fürst Haugen.
The Childhood Cancer Association was founded in 1982 and has 6,000 members spread across 13 regional teams. The goal of this organization is to support children and young people with cancer and their families.
Since its inception in 1974, more than eleven billion kroner have been raised through TV campaigns, converted to the current value of the kroner. In recent years, the total collection has exceeded NOK 250 million.
