MP Sellin is running for re-election. He announced that he would demand reparations from Germany

Opposition to the adoption of the euro by Poland and illegal economic immigrants, as well as demands for compensation from Germany for damages during World War II – Jarosław Sellin, deputy and deputy minister of culture, who is running for re-election, wants to discuss this issue with voters and opponents, among others .

Sellin presented an outline of his electoral program on Friday, 8 August in Gdańsk. The Law and Justice politician has been a member of parliament for 18 years, and this election campaign will be his sixth political milestone. During the meeting, he agreed with the statement that this would be an important election.

– I often hear that the result of this election will be the most important for Poland for almost 35 years. I agree with this thesis and that’s why I want to fight for the best results for Poland. And why do I agree with this thesis? Because we have a choice in front of us that if the current opposition wins over the dominant Civil Platform, Poland’s sovereignty is at stake. It needs to be stated clearly, he said.

POSTULATION

Sellin’s election demands include:

– rejection of plans to abandon the principle of unanimity in the European Union, which would lead to French and German domination of the European scene;

– rejection of Poland’s entry into the path of replacing zlotys with euros, which means, inter alia, the inability to implement flexible economic and social policies;

– opposition to Poland accepting economic immigrants from Africa or the Far East;

– demand compensation from Germany for the damage done to Poland during World War II;

– keeping strategic state-owned enterprises in the fields of communications, energy and raw materials in the hands of Poland;

– maintaining the current pension rules.

According to the Deputy Minister of Transportation, these matters need to be discussed and their respective opinions expressed during the election campaign.

“For five weeks until the elections are quiet, I will meet with the public and distribute reading materials to make them aware of the stakes of this election. I will also cover many local issues – he announced.

THINGS ABOUT GDAŃSK

During the press conference, Sellin also presented the first local topic to be discussed before the elections – namely the balance of Gdańsk’s income in recent years and the balance of support from the Ministry of Culture for Gdańsk monuments.

– We hear from opposition politicians that our administration is unprofitable and local governments are losing revenue. Meanwhile, under our administration, local government revenues were on average higher by 74 percent. on a national scale. In Gdańsk, compared to last year when the Civil Platform was in power, the figure is 63.5 percent higher. Support for monuments is also much higher, which disproves the claim that we dislike places where environments that oppose us rule. It can be proven, he said.

The politician asked opposition candidates from 25 constituencies to speak on program topics, proposing a “Sellina debate with one of the Platforma Obywatelska candidates”.
