Among the published material are 90 film clips. They were posted on an online forum by someone claiming to have hacked the taxi company Uber a few days ago. The hacker claims to have gained access to the required information through the employee’s Slack account.
In published clips, one can see, among other things, a female lead robbing a cafe. It was previously reported that the next game in the “Grand Theft Auto” (GTA) universe will have a female lead character for the first time.
The video is allegedly taken by an older and unfinished beta version of the game. Along with the video, hackers have attached a message to Rockstar. The person pushed Rockstar to “negotiate a deal,” and he asked parent company Take-Two Interactive (TTIS) to contact.
Renowned gaming journalist Jason Schreier i Bloomberg wrote that he had been confirmed by multiple sources at developer Rockstar that the clip was real.
This should be an image from the game:
Schreier called it “one of the biggest leaks in video game history” and a “nightmare” for Rockstar. He said there were several reasons why the leak had flared up.
– One of them will interrupt work for a while. Another thing is that it can put pressure on management to limit work from home opportunities. The consequences of this leak may not be clear for some time, tweets he.
“GTA 6” is one of the most anticipated games in the world. Its predecessor “GTA 5” was released in 2013 and has been described as the best-selling entertainment product ever. Marketwatch wrote in 2018 that the game had earned $6 billion.
A big part of the reason is that the game’s online multiplayer mode is still very popular.
