Improved health conditions allowed President Miloš Zeman to return to Prague Castle after a long hiatus. Next Wednesday, January 26, he will appoint a new chancellor there. He also plans to submit a check to the Kangaroo Endangered Children’s Fund project.
However, the staff who cared for the republic’s long-ill first man in the castle in Lány would not yet move to Prague with him. Nurses from the Senior Home Group will provide their services only at the Lány chateau, where a nursing facility has been built. This was conveyed by the head of the company, Boris astn, when asked about the Message List.
“I am very happy that the president’s health condition has improved so much that after consulting with the doctor who treated him, he was able to expand his work activities to Prague Castle. I also take this as confirmation of the quality of work of the entire medical and nursing team. As for the home health care provided by our facility, is located in the neighborhood of the President’s house in Lány and we are not counting on having it available at the Castle next Wednesday,” said Boris astn in the News List.
However, at the same time, the head of the private company added that the staff is ready to “provide their services at any time according to the current situation and patient needs.”
President Miloš Zeman last served at Prague Castle last September. At that time, his chronic health problems began to fully manifest themselves, due to which he was subsequently hospitalized twice at the Central Military Hospital in Prague. He was released for home treatment at the end of last November.
A team of seven nurses from the Senior Home Group are now taking turns to replace him. According to the List of Reports in recent days, the President’s Office has paid him nearly half a million crowns for home health care.
