- Fredrik Løvbrøtte Holthe (33) died in a small plane crash nine days after his wedding.

- Following the accident, a fundraising campaign was launched to cover costs related to the funeral and support for the family.
- Holthe is described as a caring person who enjoys helping others.
- The funeral ended with the song his wife, Anne Marthe, sang for him on his wedding day.
On August 19, they gathered here to celebrate the wedding.
On Tuesday 12 September, Fredrik Løvbrøtte Holthe (33) was buried in a packed Kolbu church.
Løvbrøtte Holthe died in a small plane crash at Reinsvoll airport on 28 August, nine days after he had given a “yes” to his wife, Anne Marthe Løvbrøtte Holthe.
Together they had several children.
– Cares about everyone
In a family eulogy delivered by pastor Anne Hilde Wesenberg Helland, he was described as a warm, kind and generous figure. Someone who enjoys helping family and friends, without expecting anything in return.
– He cared deeply about everyone around him, said Wesenberg Helland, who also married the couple on August 19.
Outside the church, two excavators are lined up in a heart shape.
Making a heart portal out of an excavator was actually an idea Løvbrøtte Holthe had for her wedding in August, but it wasn’t possible at the time, the priest said.
Furthermore, the pastor told how one of the children described him as follows: “He is the best father in the world.”
In his speech, it was emphasized that the 33 year old man enjoyed being with his children and inviting them to do various things.
– Fredrik is an easy person to talk to, said the priest.
Løvbrøtte Holthe lives in Toten with his family, and owns a construction company with his wife.
In his family’s obituary, it was stated that he had been involved in excavations and contracts since he was 18 years old. They depict a boy who, as he grows up, has many friends and a strong sense of justice.
Is a wedding gift
The flight that ended in tragedy was a wedding gift for Løvbrøtte Holthe, who had told her relatives that such a trip was something she wanted.
Odd Normann Strande (56) also lost his life in the accident. He was there as a pilot.
After the accident, a Spleis was established for the family, where the money was to cover funeral costs, among other things. It describes the circumstances surrounding the flight:
Løvbrøtte Holthe loved forests and fields, and she wanted to see her hometown from the air.
Playing songs from the wedding
It further states:
“What no one knew was that it would end with Fredrik’s death in an indescribably tragic plane crash at Reinsvoll, and that Anne Marthe and the children lost their most important supporter and father. An unimaginable tragedy that no one could have predicted.”
At their wedding, Anne Marthe sang the song “Because I love you” for Fredrik.
The ceremony ended with a recorded performance – 24 days after it was sung to Fredrik, on his wedding day.
“Music maven. Evil pop culture lover. Unapologetic creator. Friend of animals everywhere.”
