Donald Trump: – Moscow mocks the US

– The FBI didn’t say which document was in question, but Moscow clearly knew if it was important, said a presenter on Russia’s state-owned TV channel Rossiya 1.

On Monday this week, the FBI searched the home of former US president Donald Trump.

Documents on nuclear weapons

On Friday night, a federal judge released court documents in connection with the search of Donald Trump’s Florida residence at Mar-a-Lago.

Warn the US: – There is no turning back

It appears from the search warrant that the Justice Department believes it has reasonable grounds to suspect Trump of violating the espionage laws, which prohibit the possession and surrender of defense information.

It also appears that the president allegedly opposed the investigation, as well as deleted and destroyed documents.

The Washington Post has reported that FBI agents may have confiscated documents related to nuclear weapons, which Donald Trump has declared untrue.

– It turns out that the investigation into Trump is about the disappearance of classified documents from the White House, regarding the development of new nuclear weapons in the United States. The FBI didn’t say exactly what weapons, or what they found on Trump’s property, the presenter said with a smile.

– But obviously, if the document is important, they’ve been studying it in Moscow for some time. What’s the use of searching?, he added.

Court documents published on Friday also listed what FBI agents took from Trump’s home. In total, agents confiscated 30 items, including 20 boxes, photo albums, handwritten notes, and a pardon from Roger Stone. In addition, a document marked “Info re: President of France” was also confiscated.

Eleven sets of classified documents were also seized, some of which were marked as top secret.

Personally approved

Some of the seized documents were also said to have been marked with “compromise sensitive information”, which is a category meant to protect the most important US state secrets and information that could harm the country’s foreign policy interests if leaked.

On Thursday, Attorney General Merrick Garland confirmed that he personally authorized the search of Trump’s home, and requested that the search warrant and foreclosure receipt be published due to the high public interest associated with the case.

Trump has also demanded that court documents be made public, but believes he has been hit by a witch hunt. Earlier this week, he refused to explain himself in questioning with state prosecutors.
