A man's mustache has once again drawn attention to the seriousness of prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is the most common form of cancer in men in the Czech Republic. Every year, five thousand Czechs fall ill and 1,600 of them die from the disease. Despite these worrying figures, the level of awareness, understanding and support for the fight against prostate cancer still lags far behind the fight for women's health.

The international project Movember (a combination of British slang for mustache and the name of the month of November) aims to change all this. The goal is to raise awareness of the disease and emphasize the importance of prevention.

Also this year, a number of our figures will support Movember, such as Tomáš Klus, Jiří Menzel, David Svoboda, Lukáš Langmajer, Jiří Langmajer, Vlasta Korec, Steve Lichtag, Michal Dvořák, Libor Podmol, Tereza Chlebovská, Mahulena Bočanová, Renata Langmannová , Zorka Hejdová and others.

Everyone can participate

All it takes is for a man to register on the website with a clean-shaven face in the first days of November Move.com and throughout the month, being the Mo Bro he is, he carefully grows a mustache as a symbol of Movember. Every answer to a question about the new visa means spreading the word about Movember and the risk of prostate cancer.

For 30 days in November, Mo Bro will be a walking, talking billboard, and through their activities and words, private or public discussions will begin that will raise awareness of the often overlooked topic of men's health. Of course, women can also support men, in this case Mo Sista, who will also encourage other men to participate in this project.

By registering, Movember supporters have the opportunity to 'earn' money from their mustache which will then be donated to the Men Against Cancer Foundation. Last year, all Movember supporters in the Czech Republic managed to raise more than two million crowns.

The collection of company employees also contributed significantly Seznam.cz, which raised more than CZK 145,000 and the company became the second most successful company in the Czech Republic to contribute to Movember. And the collection will be repeated this year too. It launched on Stream for this Movember channel .

Last year, Movember Seznam's internal campaign won the Czech award Institute of Internal Communications and at the same time he reached the final of the international award FEIEA Grand Prix 2013 (announcement will last until 28/11)

Not only individuals, but also companies can join this project and thus contribute to a truly good cause.
