It was early morning when Copenhagen fell.

Copenhagen police announced that they had received a report of an accident and possible explosion in the capital at 06:15

They confirmed this later in the day. The wider area of the Hells Angels location in Svanevej is closed.

– An explosion occurred at the clubhouse in Svanevej. It belonged to one of the groups that was in gang conflict. There were no reports of injuries. “We are investigating this as a deliberate act, and part of a conflict,” Copenhagen police wrote on X/Twitter.

Now police want to contact more witnesses.

– Witnesses saw two people in dark clothes running from Svenevej shortly after the explosion. We would like to contact more witnesses, who may have seen these two or something else suspicious,

According to Danish media, there is an ongoing conflict between the Hells Angels MC club and the Loyal to Familia gang.

Loyal to the Familia is in historic judgment in Denmark in 2018 banned. It is a criminal offense to both be a member of a gang and wear gang clothing from them.

Conflicts between gangs are said to have increased recently, Denmark reports TV2.

An HA member in his 30s was shot and killed in Christiania on August 26, and an 18-year-old from the LTF has been charged in the case, the TV channel wrote.

SHOOTING: An HA member in his 30s was shot and killed in Christiania on August 26

Because Danish police believe it was a deliberate act aimed at the clubhouse, they believe there is no danger to neighbors.

– We therefore consider that there is no danger to neighbours, however due to the investigation we have blocked off a large area, and will be present for hours.
