Gabriela Soukalová – Talking after a horror day

Former Czech biathlete Gabriela Soukalová disappeared after mountain biking in Livigno, Italy last week. This was reported by the Italian newspaper La Provincia di Sondrio.

The 32-year-old woman cycled away before she was said to have been found after a day. According to the newspaper, he managed to dial the emergency number just before his cell phone battery ran out.

The search team must have been looking for Soukalov, but they didn’t find him until a day had passed. He had to spend the night outside at an altitude of more than 2,000 meters, but was found undisturbed the next day.

Now he is telling for the first time about the horror day in Italy.

– I climbed all the way up and found a shady place from the wind. I try to move as much as possible so that I hold the heat in my body and hold on, he said according to the Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat.

The 32-year-old was married to professional badminton player Petr Koukal, but they divorced in 2020.
