Krejčíková’s elbow injury is improving, but the date of his return to the field remains unclear

Tennis player Barbora Krejčíková’s health has gradually improved after injuring her right elbow in February, but the second player in the world rankings is still unable to determine exactly when she will return to court.

But he wanted to be able to defend his title at Roland Garros. Krejčíková told reporters today in Zlín, where he took over the sponsor’s car.

“I go day by day. On Wednesday I will be wiser and decide what happens next,” said the 26-year-old Brno native. In the first thirteen days, the second grand slam of the season will kick off in Paris, where Krejčíková will defend his singles and doubles titles.

He last appeared on the pitch in the second half of February in Doha. Instead of another tournament, he had to entrust himself to the doctor’s care. “I started working with Professor Kolář. First we chose a rest regime, and gradually current treatment was added gradually. Now I know that from Monday to Friday I honestly rehab and add training benefits,” says Krejčíková.

Next Monday, the clay general will start in Paris, Strasbourg, where Krejčíková will also defend his title. “I’m good at it, we perfect the stroke and I’m sure I can handle it in tennis. I can’t stand this long break but the plus is that the payback is imminent. But I really can’t name an exact date,” repeated the tennis player. .

He did everything he could to go to Paris as well prepared as possible and to play both singles and doubles. “But I don’t take this year’s Roland Garros as the pinnacle, but rather as the start of my return. I’m sure the peak will come this season,” he added.
