This fall, more specifically than September 29. until October 2nd, the stage is set for a major international conference at Q42 Kristiansand. Living Water and European Apostolic Leaders are the organizers, and the focus will be on miracles, healing, prophethood and at least Israel.
Käthe Annbjørg Kristoffersen runs the Living Water organization and congregation with her husband ystein. He has worked with missions and taught for 49 years, ever since he was saved when he was 15. They started Living Water as a mission organization in 1998, and have worked in Poland, Russia and Kenya.
internal disease
She started as a caregiver and worked with inner healing from 2004.
– I did an internship to do inner healing. And I have worked a lot in relation to my own painful experiences in childhood and the past. I have published a book on this, The Path to Freedom. There I have written about my path to freedom.
He himself was an orphanage and was traumatized, then he was adopted into a family in Flekkerøya.
– God has put my life back where it belongs, smiles Käthe Annbjørg.
From 2013 to 2015, she worked and worked on this in Filadelfia Kristiansand, but with her husband she left a year ago to start her own meeting.
– Levende vann originally started as a mission organization. In 2019, we received an indictment from God that now is the time to start here at home, and emphasize prophethood and healing.
– It has become a goal to learn more about prophecy and enable those who have the gift to develop it. We’ve had a small conference, but now we want to take a much bigger step. We want to focus on healing and prophethood, so people will experience how great God is, he said enthusiastically.
Focus on Israel
Among the keynote speakers at Kristiansand was Eugene Kontorovich, a Jew, an expert on international law.
– We want to focus on Israel. It’s hard to understand why the conflict never ends. You should familiarize yourself professionally with applicable laws. Eugene Kontorovich is a law professor who specializes in this area. He is not a Christian, but will explain based on his profession as a professor in this field. He speaks at the Council of Europe and other international forums. I look forward to hearing from him. Many do not understand why the conflict continues. What is international law in the Arab-Israeli conflict and what is the applicable law? I think there is a lot of ignorance. Now LO and Ap are very strong against Israel, and then we want to bring out the other side.
Israel Pochtar, Messianic priest at Ashdod, was also on the list of speakers.
– Israel Pochtar has been in many congregations and spoken at conventions in Norway this summer. He was a strong preacher and a Messianic Jew.
They also invited an Arab Christian, pastor Saleem Shalash, who runs a congregation in Nazareth.
– We are trying to get more voices out of Israel and will show that Israel is an important country and that we as Christians should support Israel.
Rich jobs in Kenya
There will also be representatives from Kenya, where Living Water does extensive work.
– We have reached the tribe in the desert that has not been reached. It’s really wild, to meet the natives who have started to accept Jesus there. We have started 33 congregations in Kenya, of which there are 100 to 500 in each.
– Bishop Paul Rutto is coming with his wife, Mercy. We work with Paul who is the official head of the churches we have founded. We have employed 33 teachers and pastors in all, and Reverend Moses Katome, our own leader, lives there in this area, while the bishop has formal legal responsibilities to the authorities in Kenya. Pastor Moses is the day manager and runs 6 schools with 600 children. This comes and represents work in Kenya.
– The work has progressed so fast. All of this has happened since 2015. In these years under Pastor Moses, the work has progressed, we have been up and down teaching and mentoring. But now all three have come to us, says Käthe Annbjørg.
– Miracles are the norm
There were also Norwegian preachers, including Jan-Aage Torp, leader of the European Apostolic Leaders, and Karl Axel Metzoni, pastor in Philadelphia’s Fredrikstad.
There will be evening meetings every night and seminars and morning meetings, a total of 8 meetings.
– There are all sorts of themes with many different themes discussing this with the kingdom of God, what God is doing in the world today, signs, wonders, revivals, miracles. We want people to see that signs and wonders and miracles are the norm.
– We want the kingdom of God to be a visible kingdom where people are active, that they should not just be bench workers. That people can be challenged to join in and make a difference. So that people can go on missions and be active in the life of faith.
– What expectations do you have for the conference?
– I hope that God will show his power and presence in a visible way in people’s lives. That people will be equipped and kindled with fire, that we will see physical healing. We’re used to seeing it, but would like to see it on a much larger scale. The testimony people have when they meet and experience God helps break down boundaries. When they physically experience God’s healing and power, they will go home and share the gospel. We believe that in this way people will be excited to spread Jesus to others. They could not deny what they had experienced for themselves.
He also promised a lot of good social fellowship.
– We should have a pleasant meeting, good praise, and such a community experience. It’s nice to be able to get together with other people and have a good conversation. But the most important thing is to get a touch from God.
