Orban in the United States. Criticizing world leaders

The strategy of globalist leaders leads to an escalation and extension of the war in Ukraine, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said Thursday at the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) conference in Dallas, Texas. He also called for negotiations between the US and Russia.

In my opinion, the strategy of globalist leaders is to increase and prolong war, reducing the chances of peace

– said the Hungarian prime minister during the biggest event that unites American conservatives.

If the US does not hold talks with Russia and make peace, he added, Europe will be “on the brink of an economic abyss”. He also stressed that Budapest was “in full solidarity with Ukraine”.

Only a strong leader can make peace

– he emphasized.

In his speech, Orban devoted much space to criticizing liberals and the current US administration.

We have to respect the US government (…), but there is also another side to the coin. Your government exerts enormous ideological pressure on Europe, especially Brussels

– He says.

Obama’s tenure

During Barack Obama’s tenure, he added, Washington tried to force his government to change the constitution “in line with globalist liberal concepts.”

The politician stated, speaking to conference attendees, that American Democrats “hate us as much as they hate you”, and liberals and communists are one and the same.

If you don’t believe that liberals and communists are the same, ask a Hungarian. We fought these two and defeated them

Orban shows.

He added that conservatives “cannot fight with liberal methods,” but on their own, because they are in a culture war. He gave examples of his struggles against migration and the introduction of pro-family policies.

I’m here to tell you that we should join in

He announced.

Orban calls himself “the only anti-immigrant political leader in Europe” and the leader of “a country under siege by progressive liberals every day.” He added that the liberal media would describe him as “an authoritarian and anti-Semitic racist and Putin’s Trojan Horse.” He assured that Hungary has a zero-tolerance policy for racism and anti-Semitism, and anyone who says otherwise is “just a fool”.

The Hungarian head of government enjoyed growing popularity among American conservatives, which resulted in, among other things, hosting the first CPAC conference in Budapest in May. Prior to Thursday’s speech, he met with former President Donald Trump, who will also speak at CPAC on the final day of the conference on Saturday.

Prior to Orban’s arrival, several conservative journalists asked for his cancellation of invitations, indicating, among other things, to the recent speech by the Hungarian leader in Romanian Baile Tusnad, in which he spoke out against “racial mixing” and suggested that the war in Ukraine was the fault of the West. The US Embassy in Budapest also responded to the speech.

We must not forget that what began with the racist and xenophobic rhetoric of 20th century leaders ended in the genocide of millions of people.

– in a press release issued the day after the speech.
