Polish Prime Minister proposes to confiscate Russian property and give it to Ukraine

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki supports the idea of seizing the Russian capital and using the proceeds to rebuild war-torn Ukraine. The Polish Prime Minister said this in Warsaw at the opening of an international conference called Europe-Poland-Ukraine. Morawiecki said he also wanted to involve Polish businessmen in the reconstruction of Ukraine.

The prime minister noted that in the current armed conflict he strongly believes in the victory of Ukraine and the defeat of Russia. In addition to the recovery of Ukraine, the Warsaw Conference was also dedicated to business cooperation.

“You can’t pretend and hide your head in the sand when Russia threatens,” the Polish prime minister was quoted as saying by PAP. According to him, Russia can only be defeated if the security architecture is rebuilt.

“And that is why Poland supports not only the freezing of the Russian capital obtained from crime, but also the confiscation and relocation of this capital for the reconstruction of Ukraine. Polish businessmen should also be a part of this,” added Morawiecki.

The prime minister promised that the Polish government will ensure that Polish businessmen actively participate in the reconstruction of Ukraine. “It will be based on the new Marshall Plan,” said Morawiecki. The American Marshall Plan helped rebuild Western Europe after World War II.
