This is the third and final installment of Planet Earth, and once again it is Sir David Attenborough who guides viewers through spectacular natural scenery.

The first episode is entitled “Coasts” – where two worlds collide and the animals must fight to survive amidst constant change.

It took 5 years and 1,904 shooting days to create the third round of Planet Earth which includes beaches, oceans, deserts and grasslands, fresh water, forests and the most extreme areas on Earth.

The series has been filmed in 43 countries on six continents, and two episodes have also been created dedicated to those working to preserve rare species and nature.

– Planet Earth III completes the trilogy, exploring Earth’s most amazing habitats and the extraordinary animals that live there, writes the BBC.

The series is full of wonder and insight, surprising encounters and beautiful views both above and below the water. Divers in particular can look forward to episode two about the sea!

The series is broadcast every Sunday at 18:00 on BBC Earth and BBC Brit. All you have to do is set aside some time and enjoy these eight episodes:
