As for Prof. Jay. I want to say it firmly and clearly: Prof. Tomasz Sójka is an extraordinary, world-class specialist, professor of corporate law and capital markets. He found himself on Orlen's supervisory board after the mess the previous team created, and now he has been delegated to the management board, whose job is to elect a new management board president.

– said the Chairman of the Sejm.

The activities of Prof. Jays in our movement, ending in 2021, he is not a member of our group

– added.

Sójka's resignation

We spoke yesterday. I didn't know he was in this position because I don't control the nomination process, because there is another body in the Prime Minister's Chancery that does that. We jointly decided that it would be better if the process was completely transparent, so that no one was in doubt when it came to state property, that the professor should resign or submit the resignation. (…) I want you to understand me, Orlen lost a great specialist
