After suffering from toothache for a long time, a 60 year old Indian man decided to see a dentist to get rid of the problem.

When the doctors took an X-ray on the man, they were shocked.

The 60-year-old has teeth nearly four centimeters long in his mouth, according to the Jam Press news agency.

Dentist Tahir Syed told the patient that they had to operate on the tooth. The operation lasted almost two hours.

The growth reaches a full 3.74 centimeters in length, and according to dentists it is the longest tooth in the world.

The therapists have contacted the Guinness Book of Records to confirm they have operated on the world’s longest tooth.
