The Airspeed Ambassador was one of the first official transport aircraft to enter production. The project was initiated by Lord Brabazon’s commission as a replacement for the American machine Douglas DC-3 on medium and short tracks. It is a high-pitched two-engine aircraft with the possibility of hull modification (at the discretion of the user). The lower canopy and low-lying fuselage ensure easy boarding of the high-equipped aircraft, and the propellers are also fairly high above the ground.

When the passengers returned to the deck after ten minutes, their mood was overjoyed. Well, two attempts to take off were blocked by sharp brake erosion, which also angered air traffic safety advocates.
