This is what the weather is like in Western Norway this week

It’s not just Eastern and Southern Norway that will get sunshine. Now Western Norway is also getting its share.

On Monday, VG reported that the southeast looks to be the winner of the best weather this week, while in the north you should prepare for autumn.

After a gray start to the week, it now looks like Western Norway can also join in on the last bit of summer fun.

– On Wednesday there was high pressure moving from the south and north. On Wednesday, mostly calm wind conditions and sunny weather in Western Norway. There may be high clouds for some time, and there is a risk of local morning fog, but the weather will be clear throughout the day, meteorologist-in-charge Susane Reuder at the Meteorological Institute told VG.

Reeder said that in Bergen it could reach 20 degrees on Wednesday, while inland areas it could reach between 21 and 22 degrees.

Before Westerners can find their possibly hidden swim trunks, they’ll have a lot more bathing to do on Tuesday.

Due to Møre and Romsdal danger warning rain is forecast, but more rain is expected before the weather may be dry and a little hot on Tuesday afternoon.

– In Møre and Romsdal there will be mostly overnight stays and sun periods on Wednesday. It won’t be as hot as in the south, but it will be around 14 to 15 degrees, and it will be even hotter on Thursday, Reuder said.

The good weather in the western region is not short-lived. Reuder said the weather will last through Friday, with a few periods of light rain.

Before sunrise, it will be grayer in the west on Tuesday evening.

In Trøndelag they weren’t so lucky, but there is still light at the end of the tunnel (or the week if you prefer).

– Rain activity is expected to continue in Trøndelag, but tomorrow night it will slow down a bit. On Thursday, the weather will be mostly dry and sunny. The biggest problem is the fog that forms during the day, Reuder said.
