Haaland and City struggled for a long time, but then the fiery Norwegian came to the rescue.

Haaland received a fine ball from Cancelo, and almost karate kicked the ball into the net. That left the TV 2 commentator gaping.

Haaland himself admitted that it was a special match.

He was then asked about the incredible journey from “little” Bryne to wreaking havoc in the Premier League.

– It’s pretty good. I live in a dream and I am happy. There will be more, Haaland said.

Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham was voted the best player on the pitch, but praised his former team-mate. Though he might be a bit annoyed that Haaland is no longer playing with he.

– Nice to see it, as usual. In the absence of him scoring goals, football is like that. It’s a bit unfair, Bellingham told TV 2.

– I know he’s the one who scored the winning goal. Not many people know how to stop it. We did really well for 88 minutes, then he did what he did. Unfortunately for us, Bellingham said in German kicker.

Troubled start
